- You made the correct decision. It's not a good idea to install
- pre-Windows 95 drivers under Windows 95.

- As for your question, use a terminal program, make the changes you want
- from terminal mode, and save the changes to NVRAM. Then, go into Control
- Panel->Modems->Properties->Connection->Advanced and put a letter Z in
- the Extra settings box. This will override Windows 95 init string and
- use the settings you saved in NVRAM.
